Still Corners - Into the Trees
Imagine a day you’ve had, where you woke up to sun was shining outside, rays peaking through the trees, casting long morning shadows off the old tire swing in the backyard. Imagine jumping in your car, headed towards the mountains, up a winding white and yellow-striped asphalt road. Imagine the redwoods and sequoias towering above you. Imagine the sun shining outside, rays peaking through the trees’ leafy foliage, casting short midday shadows on the pavement and under your wheels. Imagine the short crashing waves of the lake-beach on the coarse sand, feeling the granules under your toes, laying under the sun’s rays casting long afternoon shadows from your tanning skin to ground.
